WHAT IS TRACT

CONSTITUTION v3

March 2019

1. TRACT was formed in the London Borough of Camden to address two main concerns: the impact of major planning developments on the wellbeing of the local community; and the number of harmful alcohol licences in the area, especially within the Camden Markets.

2. The purpose of TRACT is to create an informal network of Tenants and Residents Associations to protect the individual and collective interests of such groups, especially but not exclusively in relation to planning and licensing matters. It is open to any such groups within Camden Town and Chalk Farm, especially those in the vicinity of the Camden Markets.

3. TRACT is coordinated for the time being by Castlehaven Community Centre. There is no funding and all activities are carried out on a voluntary basis.
